John Heltzer
President, Contact Center Division
John has responsibility for North American Operations in seven Protocol Contact
Centers located in the United States and Canada, as well as all off-shore global
operations.
John brings over 16 years of experience in the customer service and contact center
industries where he has held a number of executive level positions. After earning
his BA degree from the University of Colorado, John spent 7 years with Spar Marketing
Services, one of the largest providers of integrated marketing and specialized retail
services in the country. At Spar he served as Director, National Operations, and
helped grow the company from 400 regional employees to over 4,500 employees nationwide
during his tenure. John then spent three years at APAC Teleservices as their Director
of Operations where he had responsibility for 27 contact centers throughout the
United States totaling over $120 million in annual revenues. Prior to joining Protocol
in early 2001, John served as Vice President Operations for ShopTalk Networks where
he helped build this organization into one of the leaders in the design and deployment
of front-end, speech-enabled technology applications including one of the largest
consumer-based, mobile-commerce voice platforms in the industry with over 500,000
users.
